The monthly Character Assembly at Howard Elementary began the way it usually does with Principal Julie Schnitzler giving a shout out of “Howard!” and the students shouting back “HUSKIES!”
Then Schnitzler called an audible.
“Nebraska!” called out Schnitzler.
“DANGER!” responded the students.
“Nebraska!” called out Schnitzler again.
“DANGER!” responded the students.
The call and response recognized the fact that several members of the Nebraska Danger football team were on hand to help the students celebrate their monthly Character Assembly. Full Story
