Barr Middle School seventh-graders presenting probability fair

Seventh-graders in Barr Middle School math classes are presenting a probability fair beginning at 8:45 a.m. Friday, May 20, at the school at 602 W. Stolley Park Road.

Students created their own games and have invited second-grade students from two elementary schools to play the games at the probability fair, said Nicole Dietz, a math teacher at Barr.

Games for the probability fair will be set up in seventh-grade math classrooms. The probability fair will conclude at approximately 10 a.m. May 20.

After the probability fair, each Barr student will write a report about their experimental probability, income, profit, and expenses, she said.
