Artist will conduct workshop with West Lawn Elementary School students

Artist Marcia Joffe-Bouska of Council Bluffs, Iowa, will lead a workshop with West Lawn Elementary School fifth-grade students from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, April 30, at the school.

Joffe-Bouska will first describe the stencil and tissue resist project that students will complete, demonstrate some techniques, and then assist students as they work on individual projects.

Her appearance is part of the Sheldon Statewide project from the Sheldon Museum of Art in Lincoln. She will show students some images from the Sheldon Statewide exhibit.

The artist will work with students in fifth-grade teacher Christina Eutsler's classroom.
