Welcome to the Knickrehm Elementary School website! The Knickrehm Cougars student body is comprised of approximately 245 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Knickrehm is located in the northeastern part of Grand Island. Our school staff works hard to ensure that all children will experience a positive and safe learning environment. We believe in hard work and dedication, but most importantly establishing positive relationships that will best prepare young people for the future. We hope you enjoy viewing our school website, as we are very proud of what we do each and every day at Knickrehm to ensure that we follow the GIPS motto of “Every Student, Every Day, a Success! A variety of relevant experiences lead students to become responsible, resourceful, contributing citizens who are prepared for life’s transitions.
*Parents- you are invited to join Knickrehm's PTA. Meetings are typically held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. During this time we discuss upcoming events, fundraisers, and just some general information about the upcoming school year. The PTA is a vital part of our school, come and be a part of our team!!
