Welcome to Gates Elementary

It is with great pride that I introduce you to the Gates Elementary website.  After spending some time on our site, we hope that you will feel the excitement we have for learning at Gates.  Our story unfolds as you meet the staff and investigate our School Improvement Plan, including goals and results. The real story occurs within the pictures of the students and staff.  There you will witness the shear joys of learning, the determined faces of understanding, and the passions for reading and writing.

Gates has a reputation of having great parent support.  An active PTA not only assists us in the purchasing of needed equipment and materials, but supports us within the classroom.  Many parent volunteers work with individuals or small groups of students to assist in mastery of needed goals.  It is perhaps the pursuit of building community that I admire most in our PTA.  We provide activities throughout the year to bring us together as a community accepting one another, welcoming new faces, and creating ties that go beyond the classroom.

Thank you for visiting our website to learn more about our academic opportunities as well as our family events.  If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
